Data processed when visiting
Technical data may be recorded automatically when the website is accessed, including IP address, date and time, page visited, referring page, browser type, operating system and device information.
This information is used to deliver and secure the website, detect errors, compile audience statistics and improve its content.
Audience measurement and privacy choices
Google Analytics 4 loads when the page opens. It measures website visits and contact clicks. The website does not load Google Tag Manager or Meta Pixel. Information entered in OneDoc is not relayed by the website to these services.
The banner is informational and does not control tracking. Its dismissal is saved for 180 days in the sm_cookie_notice cookie. You can reopen it using Cookies and privacy in the footer. The OneDoc module has its own privacy controls.
Google may process data outside Switzerland under its own policy. URL query parameters and values entered into health calculators are not included in website events.
Hosting and delivery
The website is hosted and delivered through Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process technical data required to provide, secure and optimise the service.
Embedded or linked services
- Google Maps may receive technical data when the map is loaded or used.
- Google Fonts provides the website fonts and may receive technical information when they load.
- OneDoc handles appointment booking, whether you follow a link to its platform or use the booking module embedded in this website. This module is loaded from the OneDoc servers and may set or read identifiers.
- Instagram and Facebook apply their own terms when you open Smart Medical’s profiles.
Contacting Smart Medical
When you contact Smart Medical by telephone or email, the information you provide is processed to answer and follow up your request.
Ordinary email is not a secure channel for confidential medical information. Do not send sensitive health data by email. For medical requests or appointments, use the telephone or OneDoc.
Recipients, retention and security
Data is available only to the people and service providers who need it to operate the website or respond to a request. It is retained only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose, legal obligations or the protection of legal rights. Third-party services apply their own retention periods.
Smart Medical takes appropriate technical and organisational security measures. No exchange over the Internet can nevertheless be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction, delivery or deletion of your data, or object to certain processing. Identity verification may be required before a request is answered.
