Smart Medical Sàrl
Editorial policy
This policy explains how Smart Medical prepares, presents and updates articles in its Resources section.
Publication responsibility
Articles are published under the editorial responsibility of Smart Medical Sàrl. They are not attributed to an individual doctor unless an article explicitly carries a byline.
Purpose of the articles
The content answers common questions about primary care, prevention, testing and how the practice works. It is written to be understandable, useful and relevant to the Swiss context.
Source selection
Smart Medical gives priority to recognised institutional and professional sources, including the Federal Office of Public Health, Swissmedic, the FMH, medical societies and relevant scientific guidance.
Key references are listed at the end of an article when they offer a useful complement.
Dates and updates
Each article displays a publication date and, when revised, a last updated date. Content may be corrected or expanded to reflect new guidance or improve clarity.
Independence and transparency
Any commercial collaboration, external contribution or relationship that could influence content must be clearly disclosed on the relevant page.
Limits of medical information
Articles provide general information. They cannot establish a diagnosis and do not replace a consultation. If you have symptoms, concerns or questions about your situation, contact a healthcare professional. In an emergency in Switzerland, call 144.
Corrections and contact
If you notice information that appears inaccurate, outdated or unclear, email info@smartmedical.ch with the article title and address. Smart Medical will review the comment and correct the content if necessary.
